Frequently Asked Questions

Do I meet with an instructor in person?

We provide customized course schedules with email tutoring. This means that all of your materials will be mailed to you, and you will work through them in the convenience of your home. All your interactions with your instructor will be over email.

How much do you charge?

$790. This enrollment fee provides your personalized course schedule, email tutoring for the length of your course, all your materials and your application help after your course.

When should I enroll?

Enrolling three to four months before your test date is ideal, although we have had success with much shorter courses. In general, the longer you can prepare, the better.

Do you serve students outside of the United States?

If you can receive a package, then we can tutor you. Although we primarily serve students in the US and Canada, we also work with students in Europe, China and Australia.

Why are your courses more effective than classroom courses?

Everything that makes Outside different from other LSAT prep methods helps to explain how our students score so high. Personalizing each course ensures that students spend their time in the most efficient way possible, gaining the most points with the least effort. Next, our students work hard. Our programs are well designed and the instructor- student relationship is a close one, which helps keep students motivated and excited about their prep. Finally, our holistic approach teaches students to maximize their brain power and minimize their stress. This pays off on test day when they are calm and focused.

How do you charge so little for such comprehensive programs?

Good LSAT prep should be available to everyone. Many aspects of the courses help us keep costs down, including our emailing tutoring structure and efficient marketing.

Why haven't I heard about Outside LSAT before?

We are a small and relatively young company (founded in 2006). The word is spreading.

Is it easy to learn Outside's methods?

We have a proven system that helps you to fully absorb effective methods for each section. The LSAT is a reading test, so taking in information our way - by reading books, materials and emails - prepares you to ace the official test.
