At the beginning of your course, you will take a recent LSAT as a diagnostic. Knowing your scaled score (120-180 scale) and how you performed on each of the four sections allows your instructor to customize your entire course based on your abilities. From the very outset, your needs are fully addressed.
Almost every student has a specific section weakness, be it the Games, Logical Reasoning or Reading Comprehension section. You will learn the methods to that section a little more slowly than the other two, to give you time to get very comfortable with them. Later, your course will build in extra timed practice sections to ensure that you gain points where they are easiest to come by.
You will receive tons of feedback from your instructor during your course on how to fine tune the methods you are using. Additional strategies based on your skill set can be extremely helpful. For instance, if you are having trouble with the science passages in the Reading Comprehension section, your instructor will know ways to build your confidence and skills in tackling them. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses helps your instructor teach you how to work with them to get your top LSAT score.
