Outside LSAT: Personalized Test Prep

+10.8 Points

Our average student score increase is 10.8 points, measured from the score on a diagnostic LSAT and the official LSAT. We use a recent LSAT (June 2007) as our Diagnostic because this test is similar to the newests official tests. The score on the official test is the other measuring point because it is the one that counts. Other LSAT prep companies base their score increase claims on students improvement on practice tests. Students score about 3 points higher on practice tests right before the official test than they do on the real thing. Take those claims with a grain of salt.

Pass the Competition

This improvement is equivalent to moving from the 50th percentile of test takers to the 88th percentile. Jumping 38% of the applicants you are competing with is significant, especially because the LSAT is so important in the admissions process. We have worked with almost 300 students, so these results are no fluke. Your custom made course will get you results.

What This Means

Because the LSAT is paramount in Law School Admissions, improving your LSAT score makes you a much stronger applicant. The average student admitted to a law school in the US in 2009 had a 3.41 GPA and a LSAT score of 158, and was a strong candidate for admission at the bottom of the top 100 schools. With a 10.8 point score increase that yields a 169, that student becomes a strong applicant at law schools in the top 20. Your Outside LSAT course will drastically improve the law schools you get into.

Only the Average...

Our average improvement includes students with short courses and those who take their prep less seriously. For students with longer courses who dedicate themselves to their LSAT prep, much higher score increases are possible. A 12-15 point improvement is realistic if you have the time for a full course (~150 hours) and put in the effort.
